The Jeddah Events Calendar (JEC) is an entertainment event that is part of a national strategy held in Jeddah, the second largest city in Saudi Arabia in the Middle East. In addition to live music performances by world-class artists, attractions such as roller coasters, and a variety of restaurants and shops, one of the main attractions attracting visitors is Anime Village, which promotes Japanese culture, including Japanese anime and manga, which are extremely popular in Australia. We worked with Avex Asia Pte. Ltd. to handle everything from the initial planning to overall project management, design, planning, software production, and on-site design supervision. We made the most of the organizational strength and network we have cultivated over the years, and formed a team centered around Content Integration Center, which has particular strength in content-based experience design, along with sales and product direction. By overcoming the time difference, responding online from Japan, and traveling to the site multiple times to align our thinking with the site, we were able to realize a high-quality project in a short period of time.
