We designed and produced a monument to attract facilities that will help revive the vitality of Akasaka that was lost during the COVID-19 pandemic, as well as a gallery that gives a sense of the area's history from its opening to the present. The monument embodies the connection that TBS has had with its viewers up until now, and at the same time promotes a circular society by creatively reusing 1.4 tons of audio-visual equipment and materials scheduled for disposal. The adjacent staircase connects the gallery, which traces the evolution of TBS's viewing media over the past 70 years, to the studio viewing area, creating a space where one can experience TBS from the past to the present in one go.
