On Sunday, February 23, 2025, a pop-up event for the Genkai Undersea Observation Tower in Karatsu City, Saga Prefecture, "Genkai Wonder Vision - Genkai Undersea Observation Tower Apple Vision Pro Experience Event in Hakata Station" will be held at the Hakata Station Square.

Using spatial computing technology using Apple's latest device, "Apple Vision Pro," you can teleport to the Genkai Undersea Observatory from the center of Hakata. You can enjoy the fantastical displays inside the observation tower with a sense of realism that makes you feel as if you are there.

About the Genkai Underwater Observatory

Genkai Underwater Observatory, located at Hado Cape in Genkai Quasi-National Park in Karatsu City, Saga Prefecture, will reopen for the first time on April 1, 2024 after 50 years since its opening. It is the first underwater observatory in Japan to use projection mapping, allowing visitors to enjoy an immersive experience as if they were in the ocean while watching real fish. In order to convey the charm of the Genkai Underwater Observatory to everyone, this event will invite you to the Genkai Underwater Observatory using Apple Vision Pro. You will be able to experience a part of the dynamic video show, one of the highlights of the facility.
